Research & Development at PATON™
Since the early 2000s, PATON Welding Equipment Plant has been investing in its own laboratories to strengthen research and development efforts, enhancing the production technology of inverter welding machines. Our R&D capabilities continue to grow each year:
– We regularly create new positions for top graduates from NTUU “KPI” in various departments.
– Significant resources are continuously invested in developing cutting-edge equipment and maintaining the necessary infrastructure.
Our R&D by the Numbers:
Our design and technology labs at PATON are fully equipped to develop all components and welding current sources, from housing designs to proprietary electronic circuits and software solutions. We focus on advancing the following welding techniques:
- Manual Arc Welding (MMA);
- Argon Arc Welding (TIG);
- Semi-Automatic Welding (MIG / MAG);
- Air-Plasma Cutting (CUT).
Each laboratory is equipped with modern, high-precision measuring and calibration equipment, enabling us to fine-tune inverter welding machines with output currents of up to 1200 amps.
Additionally, in our electrode shop laboratory, alongside quality control of raw materials and finished products, we develop new formulations for welding materials. Every piece of PATON welding equipment and related materials is the result of our own development, produced in Kyiv with pride.
